Summary

Over the past few months, we reached out to The Forrester Community For Application Development & Delivery Professionals to find out if a project can succeed with more than one project manager (PM). We wanted to hear how community members' personal experiences helped them identify critical success factors and pitfalls in a multi-PM environment — and they spoke loud and clear. We learned that a multi-PM model can be successful but that it is the people behind the model that drive project success. To boost success in a multi-PM environment, the community encourages you to explore the project's context, put people first, and clearly define roles. Effective collaboration between multiple project managers is crucial and can make or break a project.
