Application development and delivery professionals will benefit from new technologies that will both help them engage at a deeper level with their peers as well as enable them to access a wider set of relevant business information. Social collaboration, a newer breed of combined collaboration and social technologies, is emerging, and it will affect enterprise resource planning (ERP) apps in much the same way as it has already started to reshape customer relationship management (CRM) apps.
