Furthermore, regardless of the device type or associated platform, most users agree that their “computer�? is at work and their smartphone allows them to use applications when away from their desk; very few cited the ease of using their mobile device over their computer. Smartphones are facilitating changes in the way that information workers connect to applications and data, but we’re a ways off from them replacing the primary computing devices -- the computers -- of most users.
