Enterprises Turn To The Cloud Ecosystem For Data Center Infrastructure

In a time of digital transformation and development, enterprises strive to be more agile and scalable to meet their business needs. In Forrester’s Infrastructure Survey, 2024, infrastructure hardware decision-makers most often reported that their enterprise used public cloud (63%) and hosted private cloud (58%) data centers. Among these respondents, 49% also said that their firm used edge data centers — about as many as those who said that their firm owned its own data centers. This is a snapshot of Forrester’s data on the adoption of the cloud ecosystem for data center infrastructure needs, which reflects the demand for agile and scalable infrastructure.
