Summary

The European Converged Service Delivery (CSD) market has continued on its strong growth path from the second half of 2007, with Forrester recording a record number of deals in the first half of 2008. The overall number of deals containing converged IT and telecom services increased by nearly 50% compared with the second half of 2007. The UK, Netherlands, and Germany were the top three markets for CSD, while T-Systems and KPN were the top CSD providers in terms of the number of deals signed; strong performance in their home markets strengthened both providers. Service demand focused around WAN data services, which cemented its place at the top of the list of services in CSD deals. At the same time, an increasing number of CSD deals were delivered through a single service-level agreement (SLA), which points to the growing maturity of this market.
