Executive Spotlight: Top Priorities For Security And Risk Leaders, 1H 2011

Every six months, Forrester's security and risk (S&R) team fields a survey to the members of its Security & Risk Council to ascertain their top priorities for the following six months. Forrester's S&R Council consists of the senior-most security and risk executives at organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue. The results of the survey help us fine-tune our future research agenda and activities. For the first half of 2011, our S&R Council members have identified mobile security, third-party risk, data leak prevention (DLP), building IT risk management programs, and mapping out security strategy as their top five challenges. In this Executive Spotlight, we define the business value that S&R executives can realize by tackling each of these priorities and outline our recommended next steps for each.
