Infrastructure-as-a-service platform native security (IPNS) plays a crucial role in securing data, workloads, and network communications in public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This document reviews the most important functionality areas of IPNS and enumerates the key customer requirements and vendor investment areas for the next 12 to 18 months.
