Online Hispanics are adopting broadband in droves. Although online penetration increased slightly in 2006, 60% of those online now have broadband at home. This translates into greater online activities across the board, especially when it comes to social networking such as visiting social network sites, streaming media, and instant messaging. Although broadband is on the rise, however, 30% of online Hispanics still say they get more of the information they need from Web sites when they¿re in Spanish.
