How Italian Employees Feel As Lockdown Eases: A PandemicEX Survey Update

Business leaders in Italy should use our PandemicEX data to monitor Italian workers’ challenges in working from home and their fears about returning to work as the lockdown is lifted. Italian employees remain worried about their company’s financial viability, but the number of those expecting disruption in their work life because of COVID-19 has decreased significantly since March. Confidence in their employers’ ability to manage the COVID-19 emergency has grown among Italian employees. Italian workers are less anxious about going back to the workplace than other Europeans, but 75% expect their employers to adopt measures that will guarantee a safe workplace. While the number of Italian employees who prefer to work from home is falling, 50% hope that greater flexibility will become the norm.
