Summary

Customer experience professionals looking to outsource usability lab testing in Europe will encounter a broad spectrum of timelines and costs that vary depending on the specific needs for the engagement and the project's size. Our survey of European usability vendors revealed that, on average, usability testing vendors recruited between five and 24 users per engagement, that the duration of their engagements ranged from as little as two days to more than one year, and that clients paid an average cost per engagement of €20,000 or less. Most vendors agreed that the increasing maturity of the European market will cause the number of usability projects to increase in 2008.
