The Forrester/Human Resource Executive© Magazine Q2 2024 US HR Decision-Maker Survey shows major changes in three key HR priorities from 2021 to 2024: recruiting and retention; diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); and remote/hybrid workplace management. In 2021, HR conversations were dominated by pandemic-driven priorities such as scrambling for talent during the “great resignation,” remote work, and focus on DEI initiatives. The decline in these priorities highlights the responsiveness of HR agendas to external pressures, including shifting labor markets, social activism, and the geopolitical landscape.
