Hydrasight observes rising interest within the enterprise for "invitation-based" access models as a result of online collaborative workspaces plus social networking and media sites (e.g., YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Flickr). While hierarchical, permission-based access models are not expected to be replaced in the foreseeable future, if ever, Hydrasight believes that a growing percentage of non-core, collaborative enterprise applications will force enterprises to adopt and support invitation-based access in selected applications before 2010.
