Despite a gloomy economic forecast in the United States, members of Forrester's European Interactive Agency Peer Research Panel are optimistic about the state of their Web design businesses in 2008. To help guide Web site owners through economic uncertainty, our panel members also weighed in with advice on what aspects of a Web design budget are essential, what line items can reasonably be sacrificed, and what areas to watch for potential cost overruns. However, Web site owners should evaluate their project budgets carefully, as some budget cuts are riskier than others.
