Hydrasight notes improvement by several leading enterprise software vendors, in regard to the integration of functionality within their IT management software. While we believe this is undoubtedly a positive sign, we warn IT organisations to remain sufficiently vigilant or risk wasted capital and/or operational expenditure. We predict that the majority of larger organisations will nonetheless over-spend in custom IT management software/data integration through at least 2014 due to a continuation of proprietary control points within their portfolio of installed IT management software.
