How will a market that competes primarily on intellectual property (IP) be affected by the economic downturn? Service providers have been undoubtedly deeply affected by the recession in one way or another, and Forrester has therefore analyzed the publicly available information for H1 2009 to evaluate how the corporate strategy services market is evolving. In all, we tracked 111 activities and more than 1,000 pieces of research and thought leadership published. We find there is consolidation in the market and increasing partnerships, with the focus of thought leadership having shifted to specific verticals and the impact of the recession.
