In these early days for microservices, it’s clear that they face a long road to maturity: Only 13% of microservices users say they have production-proven platforms. Enterprises need microservice application platforms that are robust not only in production operation but also in how they enable mainstream developers to improve business results with microservice-based software. This report provides an application platform reference architecture to enable application development and delivery (AD&D) pros to better plan and deliver successful microservice initiatives.
