SAP's steady commitment to building out sales features and functions as part of a broader CRM suite has made mySAP CRM a Leader in the Forrester Wave™: Sales Force Automation, Q2 2007 evaluation. Most recently, SAP tackled usability challenges by partnering with Microsoft to develop the Duet product, which enables mySAP CRM users to access SAP functionality through Outlook. SAP has also emphasized providing flexible deployment options through its lighter-weight, quicker to deploy SAP CRM On-Demand option, released in 2006,which provides an alternative to the typical lengthy and expensive implementations characteristic of mySAP CRM. Overall, mySAP CRM and SAP CRM On-Demand are best suited to SAP shops that require sales functionality as part of broader, end-to-end business processes.
