In 2010, most enterprise IT sourcing organizations will start taking a closer look at new telecommunications service delivery models that promise increased price flexibility and enable more self-service for telecom services procurement and moves-adds-changes management. Enterprise telecom services buyers today are more cost-conscious than ever before. As a result, service providers will enhance current delivery models and introduce new ones that will offer user companies opportunities to achieve immediate and ongoing cost savings; reduce or avoid entirely capital outlays; and benefit from alternative cost model options that could be entirely usage-based or that combine basic fixed costs with usage pricing.
