European companies continue to accelerate their adoption of offshore services. In parallel, many service providers continue programs to increase the percentage of offshore resources used in delivering their services. But IT service buyers sometimes unrealistically expect large cost reductions and lack clarity as to how services firms calculate project prices when offshore and onshore resources contribute jointly.
