Many organizations are increasingly relying on partner ecosystems to drive growth, innovation, and customer value. However, a persistent and often overlooked challenge undermines these efforts — an unstructured approach to partner identification and selection. This report examines how unstructured partner recruitment impedes ecosystem success, introduces the ideal partner profiles (IPP) framework as a solution, explains why relying on one IPP is insufficient, and presents best practices for overcoming the challenges inherent in managing multiple IPP approach.
