Summary

The vulnerability risk analyst helps the organization identify, assess, prioritize, and respond to vulnerabilities. They communicate risks directly to nontechnical and technical audiences and develop risk-response action plans. They report on overall vulnerability risk to critical business processes and systems supporting critical infrastructure and human safety, and they ensure that response action plans appropriately address these risks. The vulnerability risk analyst administers and troubleshoots vulnerability scanners and asset discovery systems, and they support the organization’s operational and strategic objectives by educating stakeholders and reporting on risks.
