Summary

Forrester interviewed 35 client references provided by leading vendors as part of an evaluation of services procurement solutions. Overall, the marks that the references gave were high, with an average score of 7.7 out of 10. Still, companies did report some major gaps, specifically in areas like support for deliverable-based services, business intelligence, and international support. Buyers of service procurement solutions will want to spend extra time looking at these areas during the selection process and should recognize that solutions may not be well suited to areas beyond temporary labor management.
