This data chart details the full results of Forrester's Q3 2014 Global SharePoint Usage Online Survey. The results show that Microsoft's drive to move SharePoint users to the cloud is working, but the complexity of existing on-premises implementations is gating a widespread cloud adoption for the time being. As in previous surveys, mobile SharePoint access continues to be a challenge for most. The data charts also explore the deployment patterns of SharePoint, the level of satisfaction of various SharePoint functions, and indicates that SharePoint shines in portal and document-centric workloads. It also addresses SharePoint customer’s alternatives in those workloads.
