Network access control (NAC) has been around for almost two decades. The term NAC may conjure memories of less-than-pleasant implementation experiences, but its functionality within a security architecture remains relevant. Security decision-makers drive the need for NAC capabilities, working closely with network teams to incorporate these capabilities into organizations’ security strategies.
