The AI Governance RACI Matrix

Many companies today are adopting the NIST AI Risk Management Framework to shape their AI governance efforts. Applying NIST successfully requires a cross-functional governance team consisting of data and analytics, technology, business, risk, and people leaders. To help companies assemble and guide this team, Forrester has created a RACI matrix tool. For each activity in the NIST framework’s four functions — govern, map, measure, and manage — this RACI matrix helps organizations understand which leaders should be responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed.
