In Forrester's 50-criteria evaluation of 15 leading providers of applications outsourcing (AO) solution vendors, Forrester found that in this maturing market, Accenture and IBM lead the pack, with a mix of global multinational, offshore India-centric, and European providers. Indian providers' ambitions for EMEA are expanding on the Continent, although they still predominate primarily in the UK and Benelux. Suppliers vary considerably in terms of their geographic range and focus, and the Middle East is emerging as an opportunity for applications outsourcing suppliers, particularly Indian suppliers such as HCL, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro.
