In a changing digital world defined by increasing customer empowerment, reusable assets, and software-as-a-service (SaaS), consulting will significantly change over the next five years. These forces will threaten traditional revenue models, shift power within the traditional partnership track, reduce pure strategy projects, and alter delivery models. This report uses interviews with 30 leaders of consultancies to predict the future of consulting. It describes the drivers of change in consulting and how their services, delivery, and business models must change.
