The combination of data and machines could fuel either techno-optimistic utopia (all people live happier, healthier lives) or totalitarian dystopia (corporations and governments use personal data to extract oligopolistic rents and control people). In this report, we reveal the key tools that technology leaders and companies need to strive for a techno-optimistic utopia and take advantage of the promise of new technology.
