Hydrasight research, conducted in 2008, illustrates a continuing ambivalence among many Asia Pacific IT organizations in regard to infrastructure management, associated vendors, and the challenges that need to be addressed. Key issues identified by Hydrasight include overlapping product functionality and a lack of data integration. Ironically, while most Asia Pacific IT organizations (ITO) believe they are independent of their incumbent infrastructure vendor(s), Hydrasight research suggests the opposite.
