IBM has announced its business-to-business (B2B) integration solutions strategy in the wake of finalizing its recent acquisition of Sterling Commerce. It will not drop any of the current inventory of B2B integration products from either vendor, but Sterling Integrator and the Sterling Collaboration Network will play a preeminent role in the new B2B product portfolio. Clients already using one or more of these products or considering them for potential implementation should evaluate how this road map information may affect their overall integration strategy.
