Product management is a critical function that unifies business goals and objectives with customer needs and technology. Technology, including generative AI (genAI), allows for higher-value products and services, but only when product teams are customer-obsessed and use technology to serve customer goals. Additionally, leaders must efficiently manage and run their businesses, but not with efficiency as the goal itself. Product leaders continue to reassess their progress in delivering value, with some standing out as ahead of their peers. In this report, we highlight key metrics from Forrester’s Product Management Survey, 2024 and note where current practices vary from our prescriptions.
