According to Forrester’s Asia Pacific Financial Services Survey, 2022, more than 70% of online adults in metro China are interested in green insurance as they grow increasingly concerned about protecting themselves from climate change risks such as the August 2021 Shanxi floods that displaced nearly 2 million people and closed businesses. Older Chinese Millennials show more interest in green insurance than their peers. Interest in other green finance products is also high, boosted by government policies like green finance pilot zones and carbon emission reduction facilities. This is a snapshot of Forrester’s data on metro Chinese online adults’ interest in green finance offerings.
