Forrester has updated its methodology to estimate online sales during the 2020 US holiday season, adding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We estimate that US online holiday sales will grow between 20% and 30% year-over-year in 2020. This forecast includes online holiday historical sales from 2009. It also includes the key drivers and trends behind the forecast numbers.
