Summary
Working iPhone owners are more than twice as likely to access the Internet from their phone as working BlackBerry, Palm, or Windows Mobile device owners. While the data does not prove that iPhones cause people to use the mobile Internet, the correlation between iPhone ownership and mobile Internet access is high enough for Forrester to believe that iPhone owners would also welcome browser and rich Internet application access to corporate resources from their phones. Likely candidates include the employee portal, business data, and applications like Web conferencing and team sites.
