Cody Scott

Chief Cyber Risk Officer, NASA

Cody Scott joined the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as its first Chief Cyber Risk Officer in 2018. He collaborates with mission partners to develop and innovate data-driven risk management solutions that integrate cyber resiliency into mission success. Before this role, he worked with NASA to mature and optimize its cybersecurity program – including designing and conducting NASA’s first agency-wide cyber capability assessment. Prior to NASA, Cody supported multiple federal agencies on interdisciplinary projects, including the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Architect of the Capitol. Cody holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the George Washington University.
