Jhumur Choudhury

Research Lead, Business and Wealth, ATB Financial

As a CX leader, Jhumur is in  the business of making customer’s lives easier through the implementation of UX and CX research practices.In her current role as the research lead for the Advisory space at ATB Financial(a provincial bank in Alberta), Jhumur  loves to represent the Voice of the Customer with courage and candour to further corporate objectives.

Jhumur has more than 14 years of experience as an insights professional, both at the supplier and client side including global insights firms like Kantar.She has worked in multiple geographies and for multiple clients/employers including multinational corporations,fintechs, telcos, banks as well as not-for-profits. Her approach draws from extensive experience in a broad range of quantitative and qualitative research approaches both at the client side and agency side.

She also feels lucky that through her  profession she has  a huge opportunity to give back to society. She regularly uses her design thinking and professional moderating skills to develop better solutions to social problems.

Jhumur is a  believer of lifelong learning and also likes to grow individuals around her. She is  actively involved with the Customer Experience Professional Association (CXPA) and is one of the founding members of the CXPA Calgary chapter so that CX professionals in Calgary can stay in touch with the innovation happening in the CX space on a regular basis.  She is also an  Advisory Committee member of ATB’s Ellevate platform with the pursuit of advancing women within the organization together with our allies.
