Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, AARP

Najeeb (Naj) Uddin serves as the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO) at AARP, where he is responsible for information security, risk management, technology transformation, and system reliability for AARP’s technology environment.  Naj is a lead executive for AARP’s ongoing digital transformation, which delivers a unified, omni-channel consumer experience for AARP’s 38 million members.

Naj drives rapid and consistent progress in AARP’s Information Technology Services, with a focus on business outcomes that address efficiency, flexibility, and improved synchronization with evolving business models.

Prior to joining AARP, Naj held executive roles in the technology and marketing industries where he led client management, large-scale systems implementation, outsourcing, and technology adoption. His experience includes leadership positions at a number of technology startups and a large management consulting firm.  He is a thought leader for digital transformation, technology adoption, change enablement, and operational turnaround. Naj holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
