As of March 19, 2020, US consumers are still spending, both in-store and online, with nearly half of consumers reporting that they have not changed their buying habits as a result of COVID-19. The grocery sector is the only retail category that is seeing significant growth right now as consumers flock to supermarkets to stock up on essential products.
