Summary
This report details how the secure websites of the six largest retail banks in Canada stack up against each other across six categories and 66 individual criteria measuring the banks' online functionality and clients' digital banking experiences. We used our User Experience and Functionality Benchmark methodology to evaluate and rank the secure websites of Bank of Montreal (BMO), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), National Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Scotiabank, and TD Canada Trust. This report outlines the insights and best practices we uncovered during our evaluation process.
