We used our Digital Sales Functionality Benchmark methodology to evaluate the public websites of the five largest retail banks in the US — Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo. Last year the banks we reviewed achieved very similar overall scores in our benchmark. This year, Bank of America and Wells Fargo broke away from the pack to take a clear lead. And for the third year in a row, Bank of America took the top spot, scoring 81 out of 100.
