High-performance IT is the pursuit of continuously improving business results through technology. It rests on three principles. IT must: 1) continuously align with the business; 2) build trust on a foundation of security, privacy, and resilience; and 3) empower the business to readily adapt to changing market conditions and customer demand. These principles mirror the changing expectations for tech leaders and their organizations, whose responsibilities now exist beyond traditional IT. In this report, we outline how tech leaders can instill and expand these IT principles across their organization to drive high performance.
