Delivering once isn’t enough: They must be able to sustain and increase the rate of change over time to be future fit. Agile development practices and continuous delivery are essential, but so is an architecture that enables resilience and sustainability. Combining agile and architecture is challenging because their respective goals of delivering now and preparing for the future often appear to be at odds. This report outlines the challenges that developers and architects face when collaborating and identifies important resources that both sides can draw upon.
