Artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) confuses practitioners because it suffers from a lack of detail about what it entails and how its various components support each other. This report introduces the Forrester AIOps Reference Architecture, which identifies a broad superstructure of interoperability that supports the five tiers of capability. The supporting technology stack of capabilities describes what is required to implement an enterprise-class full-stack AIOps solution.
