Technology can improve healthcare worker productivity and efficiency, help alleviate clinician burnout, and reduce workforce shortages. But too often, technology investments aimed at helping clinicians fail because they lack implementation strategies. Without a strategy, technology investments can worsen the clinician experience and, at times, patient outcomes. To reap the intended benefits, healthcare providers (HCPs) must first develop a technology strategy and redefine the way they approach technology.
