Global digital business strategy decision-makers are balancing several top priorities for their customer-facing technology in the next year, per Forrester’s Digital Business Strategy Survey, 2024. Thirty-four percent of decision-makers say a top priority is to consolidate or reduce the overall number of solutions in their ecosystem. One-third (32%) say a priority is to add more specialty vendors to their ecosystem — although that’s 39% in Europe, 29% in North America, and 25% in Asia Pacific. We hear these conflicting sentiments anecdotally from digital leaders: They’re not making large, costly changes to their tech in the near term if they can help it, and even smaller moves might be out of budget for now.
