Organizations at which EA reports directly to the CEO are more likely to say that their company’s revenue growth was above the industry average than when EA reports to an IT leader such as the CIO, CTO, CISO, or head of development. Reporting to the CEO gives EA more strategic impact across the organization, aligning closely with the overall business goals and facilitating better decision-making.
