Systemic risk will be a major driver of the future of work for the next decade, as the pandemic has vividly demonstrated. Part of driving resilience in the face of systemic risks involves measuring and tracking the costs of those risks — and then working to mitigate them. In 2022, COVID-19 is creating a little-discussed risk to the workforce in the form of absenteeism.
