French Fulfillment Attitudes, Q1 2022

Online inventory visibility is important to retail customers when they’ve ordered goods online for local pickup. Forrester’s February 2022 Consumer Energy Index And Retail Pulse Survey reveals that over one-third (37%) of French online adults like to check online to be sure local stores will have the items they want. For comparison, UK (43%) and US (51%) online adults also want this local inventory visibility. As for broader fulfillment trends, 34% of French online adults want more stores to offer pickup lockers, 32% report using “buy online, pick up in-store” more than they used to, and 29% plan to use curbside pickup when it’s available.
