Analyst relations (AR) professionals often tell us that “elevating AR to the C-suite” is a top priority. AR managers might feel that elevating their work to executives is a way of showcasing AR’s value, earning more budget, increasing team size, protecting themselves from budget or headcount reductions, and positioning themselves for promotion. But those efforts often fall flat because many executives don’t even understand what AR is or have misconceptions that require correcting. This research helps AR professionals answer internal stakeholders’ question: “What is AR?”
