Tech and business leaders in manufacturing still struggle to unlock the opportunities associated with digital twins. Currently, many digital twins still only model a single physical asset. As decision-makers in asset-intensive industries try to digitize complex multistakeholder processes, simple digital twins are no longer good enough. This report explores the value of investing in more complex digital twins and highlights the challenges that must still be overcome.
